CENTRAL LIBRARY BOOKSTORE:
MARCH IS WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH. We’ll celebrate with a wide variety of books — all on the sale table from March 10-15, then inside the store for the rest of the month( see below).
MARCH 3 – MARCH 8 : An intriguing trifecta of sales — People (i.e. biographies), places (travel books) and things (a little bit of everything). Who, where, and what!
MARCH 10 – MARCH 15 : We’ll celebrate Women’s History Month with a collection of history books, biographies, sociology, current events, and more. It’s all on the sale table for this week only and then inside the store for the rest of the month.
MARCH 17 – MARCH 22 : Big books $1 each, Little books $1 each (proving that bibliographically at least, size doesn’t matter!)
MARCH 24 – MARCH 29 : Our favorite Sale: Quirky books! Books you didn’t know you wanted to read … with a few must read classics thrown in.
Looking Ahead: April is Poetry month and we have dozens of poetry books; plus, we’re loaded with FREE poetry journals!

CHANNING BOOKSTORE :
A terrific selection of children’s books will be 50¢ — a great opportunity to add to or refresh a home or classroom library. In addition, there will be sales of books on dogs — practically everything imaginable — and a wide selection of Passover/Haggadah books. Come in to see our latest arrivals.
The Friends Channing Way Bookstore is located at 2433 Channing on the ground floor of the Telegraph-Channing garage. Park in the parking structure: first hour free!, or, use one of the pedestrian entrances on Channing Way or Durant Avenue (note: the latter is not wheelchair accessible). The Central Library Bookstore is on the first floor of the Central Library.
Our “Free Books” carts are stocked daily with books that we cannot sell, but are free for you to take and enjoy, or to refill your Little Free Library! The carts are currently available during all open hours and are located outside the store by the front entrance.
